O primeiro romance da jovem escritora Chu Xun torna-se um best-seller no sudeste asiático e o seu agente anuncia o próximo livro da autora numa noite de autógrafos. A obra, intitulada “Re-Cycle”, irá abordar forças sobrenaturais. Após iniciar o livro, Chu Xun pára e deita ao lixo alguns rascunhos da sua obra. Mais tarde, começa a ter visões, como a de uma mulher que aparece repetidas vezes em determinados lugares. Os fenómenos não têm explicação e a escritora passa a achar que o que escreve acontece no mundo real tendo dificuldade em distinguir o que é real do que é apenas imaginário… Então, uma noite, Chu Xun resolve seguir a tal mulher até o outro mundo – um mundo no qual ela viverá o mais real e puro horror!

 

 

“I just had one of the biggest mindf*cks ever! But it was so good! I just watched a movie called “Re-Cycle” (Asiamania, always great martial-arts and horror movies). It’s a bout a woman who just started writing a new book. But she’s having trouble to get the right inspiration and isn’t happy with anything she writes. This seems like a normal situation (every creative person knows how hard it is if you can’t get out what’s in your mind). But at this point, the movie is gonna make a twist. She starts to see vague figures in her house, gets weird telephone calls and she is starting to trip out. This goes so far that she enters another world. A world where she doesn’t belong but she also created it. Imagion everything you ever forgotten, banished, or just threw away, and get confronted with it in a sick twisted world. I won’t tell any more about it cause I know some really wanna see this movie first.

I’m not a good reviewer or something, but so you know what to expect: Lots of scary kids and creeps, Lots of visual effects (some good some poor), A world you could picture in video games, and I think one of the best story concepts ever!”
